Terms of Service

Effective and last updated: August 21, 2026

1. Agreement and eligibility

These Terms govern access to OptiRoster. By creating an account, subscribing, or using the service, you agree to these Terms for yourself and the agency or organization you represent. You must be legally able to enter this agreement and authorized to act for that organization.

2. The service

OptiRoster provides software for soccer-agency operations, including player, club, contact, request, contract, document, activity, and invoice management. OptiRoster does not act as a player agent, club, lawyer, accountant, payment recipient for agency invoices, or employment or transfer intermediary. The service does not guarantee representation, placement, transfer, contract, or payment outcomes.

3. Accounts and agency data

You are responsible for accurate account information, credential security, authorized users, and all activity in your workspace. Your agency retains its rights in information and files it submits. You grant OptiRoster the limited right to host, process, reproduce, and transmit that content only as necessary to provide, secure, and support the service.

4. Personal information and authority

You may submit information about players, contacts, and other people only when you have the authority and lawful basis to do so. You are responsible for required notices, consents, permissions, retention decisions, and responses to individual-rights requests relating to agency-controlled data, including data about minors.

5. Fees, trials, and subscriptions

Eligible new agencies may start with a 7-day free trial without providing a credit card. To continue after the trial, the agency owner must add a valid payment method before the trial ends; otherwise, the trial subscription is canceled. The owner plan is $15 per month and each additional user is $10 per month unless a different price is shown at Checkout. Paid subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Stripe processes payments. Taxes may apply. Except where required by law, fees already charged are non-refundable. Canceling stops future renewal but does not normally refund the current billing period.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use OptiRoster unlawfully; access another agency’s workspace; upload malicious code; probe or bypass security; scrape the service; infringe rights; misrepresent authority; send spam; or store data unrelated to legitimate agency operations. You may not upload highly sensitive identifiers such as Social Security, passport, banking, or medical information unless OptiRoster expressly supports that category and you have confirmed appropriate safeguards and authority.

7. Third-party services

The service depends on providers such as Supabase, Vercel, and Stripe and may link to services such as Transfermarkt or video platforms. Third-party services are governed by their own terms. OptiRoster is not responsible for third-party content, availability, or independent processing.

8. Availability and changes

We may maintain, modify, suspend, or discontinue features and may impose reasonable limits to protect security and reliability. Beta features may be incomplete or change without notice. We will use reasonable efforts to communicate material changes affecting paid service.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service or cancel billing through the available billing tools. We may suspend or terminate access for nonpayment, security risk, unlawful conduct, material breach, or harm to the service or others. Upon termination, data export or deletion may be subject to reasonable procedures, retention periods, and legal obligations.

10. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available” without implied warranties. OptiRoster is not responsible for professional decisions made from customer-entered data. To the extent permitted by law, OptiRoster will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages. Any aggregate liability will not exceed fees paid by the customer for the service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not permit every limitation, so lawful rights remain unaffected.

11. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms and will post the updated date. Material changes may be communicated through the service or account email. Questions may be sent to shea@optiroster.com.
